Preparing Alaska’s Students for Success in the Global Economy

iTunes U

Digital Learning is being embraced by school leaders around the state as they look for ways to close the gap for those under achieving students and to push higher to provide all students with the skills they need for the new realities technology brings to our economic, social and political systems.

As part of this effort, engaging and relevant digital content is needed for K-12 teachers to build lessons upon that is centered around skills of the near future to prepare students for the world after high school and post secondary training. CDL’s iTunes U for Alaska is building a library of free digital content from Alaska organizations, institutions and individual educators to supplement instructional strategies and provide curriculum support for digital learning.
